How to Ship your Stash
Step 1 - Choose your shipping kit
Select and purchase the box size that best suits the volume of milk you’re sending.
Our shipment kit includes an insulated cooler, carton liner, a pre-printed return shipping label, and a detailed how-to guide, so you can pack and send your milk with confidence.
Step 2 – Get your milk Ready
Ensure every bag of milk is clearly labelled with:
- Your full name
- Date expressed
- Any relevant notes
Milk must be stored in approved breastmilk storage bags only. Milk packaged in non-approved bags cannot be processed and will be returned.
Milk must be fully frozen for a minimum of 48 hours before shipping. Milk that hasn’t been frozen long enough is at a higher risk of defrosting in transit.
Step 3 – Prepare your cooler
Release the Velcro straps around the insulated shipping cooler (please do not cut the straps), then remove the lid. Inside the cooler you’ll find a plastic bag liner - please leave this liner in place.
Pack the milk inside the liner while it sits in the cooler, ensuring it is packed tightly with minimal air space.
Take care not to overfill the cooler - the lid must be able to close and seal completely. No dry ice or ice packs are required.
Replace the lid and secure the Velcro straps tightly.
Step 4 - Seal the carton & Attach the Return Label
Close the cardboard box and tape securely using an “H” tape formation to reinforce all seams.
This provides the best seal and minimises airflow; reducing the risk of your milk defrosting.
Affix the provided return shipping label to the top of the sealed carton, ensuring it is flat and clearly visible.
Step 5 - Drop off your parcel
Deliver your parcel to your local depot.
We recommend shipping Monday–Wednesday only. This allows sufficient transit time before weekend courier shutdowns.
